finding a good side hustle

Many of us are here to explore and learn new side hustles. I wanted to share a piece of advice when you're starting to think about starting something new and are having trouble coming up with something.

First things first - pick a industry/topic that you are passionate about. It's not all about the money, and because the money doesn't usually come until later you better be working on something that you're interested in to make it worth the wait.

Now... Choosing a side hustle can be very difficult, that's no lie. Pick an industry that you are interested in and start doing some research. Go into these places (or if that isn't an option, call them) and start asking the questions. Ask them what their biggest pain points are. Once you do that at multiple places that do the same type of business, brainstorm a solution and pitch it to them and try to sell it.

Knowing a businesses problem and providing the solution should be a no-brainer to any business out there.

This is very good insight and is a very thought out approach to starting a side hustle.
It also might be useful to ask the business/businesses how much they'd be willing to pay for a solution to their issue so you'll know if 'the juice is worth the squeeze' so to speak.
It would be a shame to come up with that solution just to find out they would not pay what you're willing to sell the solution for.
